1. Introduction
Cradl ("we," "our," "us") operates the Cradl mobile application (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our Service. By using Cradl, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect
Account Information: Email address, name, and authentication credentials handled by Google Firebase Authentication.
Baby Profile Data: Baby's name, date of birth, gender, and avatar — entered voluntarily by you.
Log Data: Feeding, sleep, diaper, growth, temperature, medication, milestones, and notes — all entered manually by you.
Purchase Information: We do not store payment card details. We store only your subscription status, tier, and activation date. Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play.
Device Information: Device type, OS, and app version for troubleshooting only.
We do NOT collect: Location data, contacts, photos, microphone or camera data, browsing history, or any data from other apps on your device.

3. How We Use Your Information
We use your data solely to: provide and maintain the Service; display your logs, insights, charts, and reports; sync data across your devices in real time; verify your subscription or purchase status to unlock Pro features; send feed reminders and notifications (only if you enable them); and improve the Service through anonymized, aggregated analytics. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond providing the Service.

4. Data Storage and Security
All data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore) with encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). Each account is fully isolated under your unique user ID.

5. Data Sharing
We do NOT sell, trade, rent, or share your personal data with any third party for marketing or advertising purposes. We display no advertisements in the app. Data may only be disclosed if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

6. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions
Cradl Pro is available as a monthly subscription ($2.99/month) or a one-time lifetime purchase ($14.99), processed entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play. We never handle or store your payment card details. We use RevenueCat to verify in-app purchase entitlements — RevenueCat receives your app user ID and purchase receipt to validate purchases, but does not receive your baby's health data or personal logs. New users receive a 7-day free trial with full Pro access. No payment information is required for the trial. Your lifetime purchase or subscription is tied to your Apple ID or Google Play account — tap "Restore Purchase" to reclaim it at no charge. Cancelling your subscription does not delete your data.

7. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
Cradl is for parents and guardians 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. All baby data is entered and controlled by the parent or guardian. If you believe we have collected data from a child under 13, contact us immediately at support.cradlapp@gmail.com.

8. Your Rights
Access: View all your data in the app at any time.
Export: Pro users can export data as CSV or JSON from the Reports section.
Deletion: Delete your account and all data from Settings → Delete Account within 30 days. Note: deleting your Cradl account does not cancel an active subscription — cancel separately through the App Store or Google Play.
California Residents (CCPA): You have the right to know what data we collect, request deletion, and opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
EU/UK Residents (GDPR): You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, and data portability.

9. Data Retention
We retain your data while your account is active. Upon deletion, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days. Your purchase history is retained by Apple or Google under their respective policies.

10. Third-Party Services
Google Firebase — authentication and database.
RevenueCat — in-app purchase management.
Apple App Store — iOS purchases.
Google Play — Android purchases.

11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notification or email. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

Cradl Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the Cradl application ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. You must be at least 18 years of age to use Cradl.

2. Description of Service
Cradl is a baby care logging and tracking application for parents and guardians. Features include feeding logs, sleep tracking, diaper logs, growth measurements, vaccine tracking, developmental milestones, insights, and reports. Cradl offers a 7-day free trial, a monthly Pro subscription ($2.99/month), and a lifetime Pro purchase ($14.99 one-time).

3. IMPORTANT MEDICAL DISCLAIMER
CRADL IS NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE AND DOES NOT PROVIDE MEDICAL ADVICE. All content — including feeding guidelines, growth charts, vaccine schedules, developmental timelines, and any health-related information — is for informational and organizational purposes only. It does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Always consult your pediatrician or qualified healthcare provider with any questions about your child's health. In case of a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately.

WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL LIABILITY for any harm arising from reliance on information provided by the Service.

4. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support.cradlapp@gmail.com if you become aware of any unauthorized use.

5. User Data and Ownership
You retain full ownership of all data you enter into Cradl. We claim no ownership or intellectual property rights over your content. You grant us a limited license to store and display your data solely to provide the Service. This license terminates when you delete your account.

6. Free Trial
New users receive a 7-day free trial with full Cradl Pro access upon creating an account. No payment information is required for the trial. After 7 days, Pro features lock until you subscribe or purchase. All your logged data remains safely stored — it is never deleted when the trial ends. The free tier remains available indefinitely and includes all logging features, basic 7-day timeline, vaccine tracker, Dad Mode, home stats, and milestones.

7. Subscriptions and Payments
Pricing: Cradl Pro is $2.99/month or $14.99 lifetime (one-time).
Billing: Monthly subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play and auto-renew unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period.
Cancellation: Cancel at any time through your App Store or Google Play settings. Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds for unused portions.
Data on cancellation: Cancelling does not delete your data. If you resubscribe, all logs and history are instantly restored.
Price changes: We may change prices with 30 days advance notice.
Refunds: Subject to Apple's and Google's respective refund policies.

8. Lifetime Purchase
The $14.99 lifetime purchase grants permanent Pro access for a single Apple ID or Google Play account. Tap "Restore Purchase" if you reinstall or switch devices — your purchase is verified through Apple or Google at no charge. A lifetime purchase on iOS is not transferable to Android or vice versa, as billing systems are separate. Future Pro features are included at no additional cost.

9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CRADL AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cradl and its operators from any claims, damages, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or violation of any third-party rights.

12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. Upon termination, your data is permanently deleted within 30 days. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of prepaid subscription fees.

13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California. Disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.

14. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification or email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Tap Bottle or Breastfeed on the home screen. Enter amount, type, and save. The app tracks your daily totals automatically.

Tap Sleep to start a timer. A purple banner appears at top. Tap the banner to end sleep — duration is auto-calculated.

Our diaper options are based on AAP/pediatric guidelines. Yellow, seedy stools are normal for breastfed babies. Red or white stools need medical attention.

Go to My Babies from the More menu to add more babies. Tap the baby name in the header to switch between them. All features are free — add as many babies as you need.
